The world is facing a transition toward decarbonizing the economy and getting ready to deal with climate change and all related impacts. However, it is mandatory that this is going to be a just transition. 
Just transition refers to a set of principles, processes and practices aimed at ensuring that no people, workers, places, sectors, countries or regions are left behind in the transition from a high-carbon to a low-carbon economy. 
It is time to debate how we can take full profit from the current technological revolution to reduce gaps that hold back truly inclusive and sustainable development
