Opening Ceremony of Global Youth Summit on Net-zero Future & the 3rd GAUC Graduate Forum

About the Summit
Climate Change is one of the most important issues at the center of national economic development and global governance.
The Global Youth Summit on Net-zero Future & the 3rd GAUC Graduate Forum (hereafter the Climate x Summit) aims to emphasize the close interconnection between climate change and other UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the transforming impact climate change holds over other areas.
Integrating with other trending global topics, the Climate x Summit will emphasize on the climate in relation to four areas: Nature & Biodiversity, Food & Health, Energy, and Transportation.
In addition, the summit also welcomes youth to initiate based on their field of interest, to study and explore various subjects’ interconnection with climate change.
Considering the importance of global climate governance, the summit encourages the youth to submit papers, innovate solutions or share voices from the perspective of public policy. 

To empower global youth and multi-stakeholders with diversified insights and creative solutions towards the net-zero future, GAUC member universities are also proposing their university determined contributions (UDC) for the Summit.
